One easy way to de-clutter your life is to buy four or five hard folders for the most vital documents of your life and dispose of everything else. If a pile of documents have been evaluated, used and would not matter in the next ten years, then you have our go signal to place them in a roaring paper shredder.

Save documents like tax records. Deeds to your land and your home should also be saved. All bank-related documents should also be kept so that your credit history can easily be corrected if there are irregularities. You can easily produce proof with these documents. All documents that pertain to your investments should also be kept in safe folders with plastic to protect them from humidity.
